Healing Arts


As a leader in the healthcare industry, Henry Ford Health System strives to improve human life through excellence in the sciences and art of healthcare and healing. Healing Arts seeks to enhance the patient experience by utilizing the arts as positive distractions to reduce pain, anxiety, and stress.


The Mission of the Healing Arts program is to create restorative and calming environments for patients, visitors and staff by integrating the creative arts and aesthetic experiences into the healing process. Healing Arts seeks to bring literary, performing and visual art experiences that represent and celebrate the cultural diversity of the communities we serve.


Call for Entries


Healing Arts is currently accepting 2-D entries for the 2012 gallery season. Individual artists and arts organizations are welcome to submit recent works. Please see call for entries form for details.

Plymouth Community Arts Council


PCAC Third Annual Open Art exhibit is looking for artists to submit work that highlights, features or focuses on the human face.
Exhibit will run from April 4th-26th. Artists Reception on Saturday, April 14th 3-5pm
