4-5 sheets Strathmore Aquarius 90# 22"x30" watercolor paper (more is always better)

Liquitex Gloss Medium and Varnish (one product) 8oz. will do

White gesso

Acrylic paints – Golden Fluid acrylics are preferred because they are transparent, but bring what you have

Acrylic gel of your choice (I prefer the matte finish)

2 - 3" brush (a cheap bristle brush from the hardware store is fine; please do not bring good watercolor brushes)

Any other synthetic brushes you like to work with

4" rubber brayer

Large palette (I use a 12"x16" disposable paper palette pad)

Spray bottle with adjustable nozzle (so it goes from killer stream to fine mist)

Roll of toilet paper (no, that’s not a mis-type)

This is a personal iconic piece so bring along any favorite decorative papers, and/or “failed” paintings for collage possibilities. Fabric can also be used. We will talk about possible additional supplies the first day of class.
